Adejoke Bello

Meet Adejoke Bello, the Academy Manager at Anibaba Academy in Ikorodu. She joined Bridge in 2017 as a Nursery 2 teacher in Anibaba.

She is passionate about education and loves imparting knowledge to children. When she was promoted to the position of academy manager in 2020, she felt great but was initially skeptical about the reaction she would get from teachers and parents. However, since she assumed the position, Adejoke has received tremendous support from teachers and parent representatives in her community. “To a large extent, I have been able to cope with the huge responsibility of managing the academy effectively, thanks to the support from the teachers and parents” She said.

Adejoke’s advice to teachers is that they should continue to put in their best in all their endeavors and keep their hopes alive while she admonished parents to continue to encourage their children to be the best they can be. Her advice to the pupils is “Irrespective of the situation, the future is bright and do not look down on yourselves” She said.
