Bridge Pupils Set a New Record at the 2025 National Common Entrance Examination

As Bridge Nigeria marks a significant milestone—its 10th anniversary—the 2025 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) results have delivered a fitting celebration of a decade dedicated to educational excellence. This year’s outstanding performance by Bridge pupils not only continues a seven-year streak of academic distinction but also stands as a testament to the transformative impact the organisation has made since its inception.

This year, Matthew Ebuka Anasoh emerged as Bridge’s overall best-performing pupil with an exceptional score of 195. His achievement, and that of his peers, showcases the powerful support system built within Bridge classrooms over the past ten years—a system powered by dedicated teachers, a proven instructional model, and innovative learning tools.

“We are incredibly proud of Matthew and all our pupils who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, especially in this, our tenth anniversary year,” said Ogechi Ofurum, Managing Director of Bridge Nigeria. “Their success is a powerful affirmation of a decade of hard work—the commitment of our pupils and the unwavering dedication of our staff who show up every day to ensure learning truly takes place. This isn’t just a single year’s success; it’s the fruit of a ten-year promise kept to underserved communities.”

The impressive results highlight the consistent strength of Bridge pupils. Oluwatimilehin Ogundele secured second place with a total score of 187, while Joanna Odubela, this year’s best-performing female pupil, took third place with a strong score of 184.

Ofurum added, “As we reflect on our journey, we are especially pleased to see how well both boys and girls continue to perform. This balance, sustained over the years, shows that our classrooms have always been designed to offer equal opportunities for success, regardless of gender.”

Since 2019, Bridge pupils have consistently stood out in the NCEE, gaining admission into top secondary schools and winning scholarship opportunities across Nigeria. These results highlight the effectiveness of Bridge’s learning approach—a model refined over a decade that blends high-quality teaching, data-driven support, and personalised learning to help every child thrive.

“For ten years, Bridge Nigeria has remained dedicated to a single goal: ensuring every child receives access to quality, nurturing, and impactful education,” said Chinua Agbasi, Schools Director at Bridge Nigeria. “As we celebrate this anniversary, we recommit to our mission. We will continue investing in our teachers, our schools, and our instructional model so that for the next decade and beyond, pupils can learn in an environment that empowers them to excel academically and build the lifelong skills needed for a brighter future.”
